I lost count at thirty but I wasn't really paying that much attention anyway; sweet eye candy walks past without a glance our way and we all inwardly scoff at them. SnowFrom where I am I can see the gentle curves of her, draped in soft shadows from a slow summer's sundown. The gradual rise and fall of her breathing throws the shadows to new valleys and for not but a fleeting moment I can gaze upon a whole new scene of creeping shadow over soft snow, and as I move in just a bit closer, trying to disprove physics, and make two bodies occupy the same space, I catch a strange bit of irony in that I feel warmest lying against the snow.Snow
The High Price of High-DefThrough the glass I can see long rolling hills, reaching with emerald fur atop its protrusions toward a marble slab sky. Upon the flowing fur, my eyes rest the weary body attached to them, and a wind that I can only see as soft rustles the grass and a small part of myself reaches out to press against the glass, and recoils!
